This is a 4 month temporary position.   General Summary: We are seeking a highly collaborative and creative, design-focused, self-motivated, digitally native Art Director to join our close-knit, rapidly growing creative team. You will participate in all stages of the creative process to conceptualize, create, and lead work that is performance focused. We are looking for a creative problem solver who is passionate about telling stories and bringing them to life with art direction and design that captures the attention of the consumer and leads them to a purchase. You must be comfortable working across all mediums. You are a conceptual thinker and storyteller who can visualize your ideas in new and inspiring ways. You have a strong point of view on concept, design, product design and art direction. When you decide to make something, you see your vision from concept to launch without any hand-holding. Reporting to the Creative Director, the Art Director will collaborate with a team of designers, copywriters, UX/UI designers, production specialists, and technologists.   Primary Duties and Responsibilities:   - Assist the Creative Director with all art related projects by translating business goals into aspirational and beautiful designed creative that are always sales focused - Own, concept, create, design and drive process; curate and produce compelling original assets in collaboration with key cross-functional partners - Ability to fluidly switch from brand to brand as needed - Skilled at telling compelling stories about brands to multiple audiences, through breakthrough visual or experiential design and creative, with digital savvy and literacy - Lead a design team in all aspects of the day to day in addition to their overall growth and development; communicate conceptual ideas and design/photography rationale, both verbally and visually to the teams - Present well-developed and strategic creative solutions to meet channel objectives with impactful presentations - Lead and attend team brainstorms and other meetings to ensure all project information is executed by the design team in a fast-paced deadline driven environment - Create high-impact, benefit-focused, performance driven mockups for acquisition channels (social media, digital, email, e-commerce) - Collaborate with Creative Director, acquisition leads and brand managers to concept and deliver custom shoots and video projects, including developing mood boards and story boards - Provide on-set creative direction for custom photo/video shoots - Review photographer selects and make recommendations for imagery for all post-sale work incorporating imagery and video from custom shoots - Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices and other information beneficial to growing and developing the team   Experience and Skills: - Bachelor’s degree - 3+ years’ experience in design leadership role working with consumer brands, (beauty focus desirable), performance-basedbrand marketing a huge plus - Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite with expert understanding of digital and interactive design - Expert typography skills with elevated level of taste and ability to apply modern design aesthetics across projects of varied styles - Highly skilled in leading a team of creative talent and delegating responsibilities - Excellent interpersonal, time & project management, presentation, leadership and communication skills - Ability to work calmly under pressure, and meet tight deadlines with a strong sense of accountability - Detail-oriented, self-starter who possesses the ability to create original graphics/concepts

This is a 4 month temporary position.   General Summary:  As a Sr. Digital Designer, you will work collaboratively with our acquisition teams across multiple channels to create and produce interactive materials that drive conversion. You will be part of a rapidly growing team of creatives focused on digital execution for all brands. Your experience allows you to ask the right questions and deliver on-point creative solutions in a fast-paced environment across multiple brands in the beauty and lifestyle space. The ideal candidate is very social media savvy and in the know of new design trends, techniques, and tools in the digital world.   You will tell stories with visuals that draw our customers in — focusing on driving sales while building our customer loyalty and brand awareness. To be successful in this role, you need to be able to work on a multitude of projects, working efficiently and thoughtfully to always deliver on time and on target creative. The right fit is a creative and strategic designer, with a passion for evolving digital/video ad creation, and who is willing to jump in and make an immediate impact on the business.   Primary Duties and Responsibilities: - Design unique, cutting-edge digital assets for a direct response, subscription-based company, always approaching content with a sales-focused mindset and passion - Collaborate with the acquisition channels in planning of cohesive digital assets, conceptualizing, and creating performance marketing ads that drive prospective users to click and convert on our ads - Work closely with copywriters to strategically think about business problems and create visually compelling designs that effectively communicate the message and goal required by the marketing team - Work with acquisition channels on a consistent basis to leverage data and learnings to optimize and determine actionable items for strategy and messaging that inform future creative process and designs - Approach design executions from a mobile-first perspective and able to develop and execute designs for social, websites, email, and all other digital outputs – all to the required creative standards, specifications and deadlines - Collaborate and take feedback well with internal teams in creative brainstorms, project solutions, and direction - Maintain consistency in developing campaigns while balancing acquisition channel needs with brand guidelines - Stay up to date on visual design trends and tools and share knowledge with the team. - Help to develop creative and strategic frameworks to push best-in-class digital execution for G|R brands - Be creative, have an eye for detail, and possess strong time management skills while managing multiple projects across various brands simultaneously and efficiently in a deadline driven environment - Bring early stage product concepts to life through mock-ups and simple wireframes. This is a 4 month temporary position.   General Summary: The Sr. Digital Copywriter will play a central role across various brands and multiple acquisition channels by connecting strategic insights into inspiring digital ideas. We are looking for a conceptual thinker, a skilled communicator, and a valuable creative partner that knows digital inside and out and how to persuade a customer to purchase. We are a fast-paced company and we take pride in the quality of our team and work.    About You: You understand that users' time is limited, and space constraints are always a concern. You always tell a story whether through a Facebook ad or a product advertorial. You have a love and feel for language and do not consider content complete until you've checked the spelling and grammar. A detailed style guide gets you excited, but you know how to make do without one. Who We Are:    Guthy-Renker has discovered and developed dozens of well-loved, high quality consumer products in the beauty, skincare, entertainment and wellness categories. We have more than 20 years of product development, branding and marketing success.   To match the rapid growth and launch of several amazing new products, we are seeking a Senior Buyer to join our Global Supply Chain team.   General Summary: The Senior Buyer will contribute to the success of assigned product(s), brand(s) and/or division(s) by sourcing qualified products, vendors and manufacturing processes to support GR sourcing requirements and company objectives.  This role drives the procurement activities for multiple beauty and skincare brands – both existing and new product launches happening throughout the year.  This is an opportunity for someone to bring their expertise to a progressive supply chain team focused on developing a strategic supply base that meets business needs.   This position will interface with our internal business partners (Marketing, Product Development, Finance) and the demand organization to determine requirements to develop production build plans which meet objectives, optimize inventory investment, and facilitate efficient utilization of manufacturing resources.   Responsibilities:  - Manages suppliers and licensees to produce products that meet with the specified quality standards and deliver according to plan. - Issue purchase order to vendors and track them all the way to receipt while managing internal stakeholders and timelines. - Challenge all existing sourcing processes which are in place today recommending and implementing change as appropriate. - Support Domestic and International counterparts to maintain a cohesive sourcing team, both domestically and abroad. - Promote alignment within the company through understanding of the role of sourcing in meeting both the company’s strategic goals and customer expectations. - Aggressively seek and evaluate cost saving opportunities in alignment with Sourcing department goals. - Aggressively seek opportunities to identify, evaluate, and develop new sourcing channels and vendors to meet new or future demand, implement cost savings and/or reduce lead times. - Aggressively seek opportunities to reduce lead time while maintaining a JIT supply chain. - Assist in the negotiation of contracts and pricing agreements with licensees, vendors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, charges, quality and on time delivery. - Work closely with Product Development, Purchasing and Marketing teams to support development and sourcing of new products. - Distribution of new/updated product sourcing information to appropriate parties. Schedule and attend touch base meetings with counterpart GRC departments to promote clear and concise communication and updates. - Proactively advise all internal clients of any supplier concerns while searching for alternatives to improve customer appeal. - Issue, track and analyze product RFP’s. - Monitor and track vendor related issues. - Follow and participate in the testing and creation of necessary standard operating procedures (SOP’s). - Work with Quality Assurance, Quality Control and Product Development groups to manage issues related to quality and ensure Sourcing department is in line with company quality objectives and goals. - Work with Product/Package Development to review all suggested and/or required product changes; implement changes as approved. - Establish and maintain open channels of communication with peer departments.   Requirements: - Bachelors Degree in Business, Operations, or Supply Chain Management - A minimum of 3 years procurement experience - sourcing raw materials and packaging both domestic and international - Current or prior work experience with consumer goods - preferably within the beauty space - Ability to communicate, influence, and negotiate to deliver results. - Ability to problem solve and provide sound business recommendations. - Strength in evaluation of business and external market conditions, supplier capabilities and financial analysis to develop a sourcing strategy to meet both short-term and long-term business objectives. - Understands Supply Chain Integration and how to work within all the “links” to meet objectives. - Knowledge and/or experience in manufacturing and or logistics. - Comfortable working in multiple integrated data systems, including ERP/MRP system, cloud based software and webforms simultaneously. - Ability to think strategically and execute problem solving tactical issues. - Ability to manage tight deadlines. - Demonstrates the initiative to take control of the position and make it their own. - Ability to build relationships and communicate across internal organization (Marketing, Package Development, Finance etc.) and external organization (suppliers and industry experts). - Ability to link business strategy and decisions to the company’s vision. - Strong contract negotiations skills. - Knowledge and understanding of cost drivers and ability to apply within negotiations, development of strategies and embarking upon cost improvement opportunities.  (familiarity and/or direct experience working in lean manufacturing environments) - Understands the cycle of money in a corporation and understand basic and progressive financial tracking tools. - Intermediate to Advanced computer skills in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and other computer systems. - Driven, passionate with a curious attitude. - Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills. - Superb communication and interpersonal skills. - Poise when confronted with sudden setbacks. - Willingness to operate in a dynamic environment. - Ability to make quick decisions with 80% information. - A self-starter with a thirst for knowledge and the ability to learn quickly. - Works well with little direction.

Who We Are:    Guthy-Renker has discovered and developed dozens of well-loved, high quality consumer products in the beauty, skincare, entertainment and wellness categories. We have more than 20 years of product development, branding and marketing success.   To match the rapid growth and launch of several amazing new products, we are seeking a Packaging Engineer I to join our Global Package Development & Engineering Department.   General Summary:      This position is responsible for assisting with the development and implementation of packaging for the Global Package Development department.   Primary Duties and Responsibilities: - Assists in generating packaging and filled Good Specifications for assigned projects. - First level approval of color and quality standards for packaging components and filled goods. - First Level approval of Engineering Drawings, Specifications Packets (components, filled goods and assembled kits). - Works on preparing package compatibility samples. Setup and review tests results. Issue test reports and distribute to impacted functions. - Assist in product samples and mockups preparation for all new and assigned packaging projects. - Conducts drop tests, vibrations test, smear tests, dispense tests and other applicable tests to insure primary and secondary package integrity. - Identifies, qualifies and recommends emerging packaging technologies to improve product’s perceived value, performance and cost. - Responsible for requesting die lines, assigning item codes, creating artwork tickets, route artwork for departmental approvals. - Perform fill capacity, headspace requirements, filling process tolerances, and determining final package weight claim. - Assists in managing on–site inspections for first article runs, based on approved standards. - Assists in maintenance of weekly packaging development updates with Package Development Managers. - Assist in managing challenging projects and delivers innovative packaging solutions within the appropriate timelines - Assists in the development and qualification of Global packaging suppliers by identifying potential constraints with packaging and production processes, capacities and other associated risks. - Additional duties may be assigned. Requirements: - Excellent verbal and communication skills - Strong interpersonal, negotiation, presentation and leadership skills - Detailed oriented with excellent follow-through abilities - Ability to work in fast pace environment and efficiently work with internal and external vendors - Extremely organized with the ability to prioritize workload - Proficient in MS Office Suite. Experience with Oracle and PLM, preferred - Must maintain confidentiality regarding all new product and package development information - Ability to work from office on a daily basis - Ability to work well with others - Ability to travel - Ability to work full-time - Ability to be punctual - Ability to work overtime if required   Education/Experience: - Bachelor’s degree in Package Engineering, Industrial Engineering related field.  - Packaging Engineer (cosmetic industry preferred) - Minimum 3 years’ experience in package development field is preferred.
